Curriculum Vitae
Niels Feldmann is a researcher in the Digital Service Innovation group in the Department for Economics and Management at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). He is founder and head of the international education and industry-cooperation program Service Design Thinking at KIT as well as leader of the Digital Service Design & Innovation Lab. His research and teaching interests focus on the human-centered design of digital services, business model innovation, data-driven business models, open and collaborative innovation, and facilitation of human creativity.
Before joining KIT, Niels was a consultant and manager at IBM Germany specialized on innovation, strategy, and transformation projects. He led numerous client engagements in several industries such as Financial Services, Energy & Utilities, Retail, Consumer Goods, or IT-Services. Throughout his consulting career, Niels worked on engagements in China, Russia, the USA and several Western European countries.
